Beyond the Bell: Extended Term Lets Kids Catch Up on Activities

Missing a soccer game or waiting months to join the art club can really throw off a student’s routine. That is exactly why we are pushing the start of the next term back. By adding extra days to our calendar, we are making sure every child gets the chance to jump into the programs they love.

The school will run from March 26 through April 5. This extra window is not about cramming in more textbooks or pushing kids to burn out. Instead, it focuses on movement, creativity, and hands-on learning. Research consistently shows that students who regularly participate in clubs and team sports develop stronger problem-solving skills and feel more connected to their school community.

You will see kids trading their backpacks for gym bags and diving into everything from debate club to intramural basketball. Coaches and activity leaders have already mapped out special sessions designed to welcome both newcomers and seasoned players. If your child has been on the sidelines, now is the perfect time to step onto the field or into the studio.

We would love for you to stop by and watch the energy in person. Walking through our halls during this stretch gives parents a clear look at how these programs shape confidence and teamwork.
